How to use WebP to JPG

  1. 1

Choose up to 20 WebP images.

  2. 2

Apply shared JPG settings to checked images or customize them individually.

  3. 3

Convert locally, then download one JPG or all results as a ZIP.

Good to know

Transparent pixels become white in JPG output. Only a single still frame is exported; this tool is not intended for animated WebP files.

When to use this tool

Use WebP to JPG when saved images are incompatible with an application or upload form. Add one WebP or a batch, apply shared settings to checked images, and change individual quality or background settings where needed. JPG is useful for still photographs, but it cannot preserve WebP transparency or animation.

PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Converting a transparent product image

Start with
A still WebP product image with a transparent background.
What to expect
The JPG download keeps the image dimensions and replaces the transparent background with white.

Get a better result

  • Use the original WebP where it is accepted if it already has a good balance of quality and file size.
  • Do not use this tool to convert animated WebP files. It exports one still frame rather than an animation.

Common questions

Why is my background white?

JPG does not support transparency. The converter intentionally fills transparent pixels with white before exporting.

Can I make the JPG smaller?

Lower the quality and compare the result. If the dimensions are unnecessarily large, resize the image as well.

Can I convert several WebP files together?

Yes. Convert up to 20 WebP images in one batch and download all completed JPG files in a ZIP.
