How to use Image Resizer
- 1
Choose one or up to 20 images and review their original dimensions.
- 2
Apply shared dimensions to checked images, or adjust individual cards separately.
- 3
Resize the queue and download results individually or together as a ZIP.
Enlarging an image cannot restore missing detail. Output is limited to 24 million pixels. Animated images are not supported.
When to use this tool
Resize one image or a whole group when you need new pixel dimensions for product listings, presentations, or websites. Shared dimensions apply only to checked images, so exceptions can keep their own settings. With the aspect ratio locked, images fit inside the chosen maximum width and height without distortion. Resizing changes the number of pixels; it does not crop the composition or create missing detail.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Reducing a landscape photo
- Start with
- An image measuring 2400 × 1600 pixels, with Keep aspect ratio enabled.
- What to expect
- Enter a width of 1200. The height becomes 800, preserving the original 3:2 proportions.
Get a better result
- Keep the aspect ratio enabled for photos and logos. Unlock it only if stretching is intentional.
- Use PNG or WebP when transparency matters. Review the download’s dimensions rather than relying on how large it appears on screen.
Common questions
Can this crop my image into a square?
No. The tool resizes the whole image. Entering equal width and height with the ratio unlocked stretches a rectangular image rather than cropping it.
Does resizing reduce file size?
Reducing dimensions often helps, but the output format and quality also affect file size. The result panel shows the actual before-and-after sizes.
Can each image have different dimensions?
Yes. Uncheck an image before applying shared settings, then enter its width and height on its individual card. Resize all uses the saved settings for every image.
