Privacy policy

This page describes the current version of ToolRino.

Tool inputs and files

Images, PDF documents, passwords, and text entered into our tools are processed locally in your browser. The application does not upload these inputs to a server or save them in a database. Download or copy your results before leaving the page.

Website requests

Your browser contacts our hosting provider to load the website and its assets. These ordinary requests can include your IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time. Hosting providers may retain operational logs according to their own policies.

On-demand model files

Background segmentation, AI upscaling, and optical character recognition use browser-side models. The browser may download model, WebAssembly, or language-data files when you first run one of these tools. Those asset requests can disclose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to the asset host.

The selected image is processed by the downloaded code and model on your device; ToolRino does not send the image to the model host. The tool page identifies when an initial model download may be required.

Cookies and analytics

ToolRino uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic and how visitors use the site. The Google tag loads from Google’s servers and may use cookies to measure visits, page views, and interactions, along with browser, device, and referral information. Your browser sends this analytics information to Google. ToolRino does not intentionally include tool text, generated passwords, or the contents of selected images and PDFs in analytics events.

Advertising

Advertising is not currently enabled on ToolRino. The site includes an inactive integration for Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, this section will describe their use of cookies and data, and applicable consent choices must be available.

Downloads and clipboard

Files you download are saved using your browser’s download settings. Copy buttons write the selected output to your device’s clipboard when you click them. Your browser, operating system, extensions, or clipboard synchronization services may have their own data-handling behavior.

Other websites operate under their own privacy policies. This page covers ToolRino’s application behavior only.

This policy will be updated when the way the application handles information changes.
