Good to know

Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Merging does not preserve digital signatures or interactive form behavior. Large files may exceed your browser’s available memory.

When to use this tool

Merge separate PDF documents into one file for sharing, printing, or organizing a project. The merger appends every page of each file in the order shown in the list. Reorder the files before merging, then open the final download to check that every document starts where you expect it to.

PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Combining a cover letter and portfolio

Start with
A one-page cover letter followed by a four-page portfolio.
What to expect
The merged file contains five pages, with the cover letter first. Moving the portfolio above it changes that order.

Get a better result

  • Use the up and down arrows to change file order. To rearrange individual pages, first extract them with PDF Splitter.
  • Keep originals when working with forms or signed documents. Reassembling PDF pages can change interactive features and invalidate digital signatures.

Common questions

Do I need to upload my documents?

No. The tool reads and combines selected files within your browser. Download the result before closing the page.

Why can’t I merge a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Use an unlocked copy you are authorized to access; this tool does not remove passwords.
